Katherine's Trip to Turkey

The World Championships is an amazing opportunity to train with the U.S. World Team and to experience what it takes to prepare for a competition on a world level. Katherine has the opportunity to attend the competition as a training partner and to watch the best competitors in the world fight for world titles and an Olympic Qualification. With one year until the 2012 Olympic Games, training intensely with the team overseas and experiencing the excitement of the World Championships is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

         

The cost breakdown for the acclimation camp in Germany and the World Championships in Turkey is:

                                    Airfare- $1,400

                                    Room and Board in Germany- $70 X 5 days

                                    Room and Board in Turkey- $100 X 6 days

                                    Turkish Visa- $25

Why Sponsor?

The U.S. Government does not provide monetary support for our Olympic Athletes. As full time athletes and students completing graduate work, training heavily to achieve our goals does not allow time for a full time job. With your help and support, each donation will go a long way. Once again we thank you for your consideration to help us achieve our dreams!
